Immanuel’s Missions are collected every Tuesday during Chapel. Our 1st semester missions will be going to a special Synod offering commemorating The Year of
Jubilee: "Proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" - the gospel - to so many in our world who are prisoners of darkness because they don't know God's grace. The closer we get to achieving our goal with this offering, the more resources we'll have to carry out our ministry. For more information, visit http://www.wels.net/cgi-bin/site.pl?2601&collectionID=1703
We have collected $111.52 so far this semester.
Show Your Light through candles. Master’s Hand Candle Co. out of Nebraska will once again supply the candles for our annual Candle Fundraiser. Money raised will go towards the classroom refurbishing fund. Each long lasting, scented candle is $13. Orders are due November 25thfor December 15th deliveries.
Help Wanted: Whenever we have a funeral at Immanuel, the Ladies of Immanuel prepare and serve a meal for those in attendance. The upper grade students set up and take down tables and chairs for these meals. Unfortunately, funerals are not always held when school is in session. In those situations, the Ladies of Immanuel need help from adult members of our congreagation to help with the tables and chairs. If you are are willing to lend a hand, please record your name and phone number on the volunteer sheet located on the table located between the church and gymnasium.
Preparing for Christmas. Attention all students: The Immanuel Lutheran Choir will be singing "God Loves Me Dearly" out of LAPPY for Christmas this year. We would like to get some children involved with singing with the choir. If any children from Immanuel would like to sing with us, we would greatly appreciate it. The Christmas carolingevents include December 6th at K-Mart and Medford County Market from 10 a.m. until about 12 noon and December 14th at the nursing home, Our House, Country Gardens and the hospital; and Christmas Eve services at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel -- Tim Jari, Choir Director

Ronald McDonald House. What do you get someone for Christmas who only wants health for their sick child? Immanuel Lutheran School is gathering supplies for the local RMH in Marshfield to help them care for families who are going through one of the toughest times-caring for very ill children. Look for a donation list posted throughout the school and church. Your donations can be dropped off in the Kindergarten room as Lori Reinhart is heading up this effort. What a great way to share our Christian love!
